Event Description: We are pleased to present the fourth MCCC GovConNet on site visit to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Small Business Seminar and Matchmaking Event. Small businesses assist NRC meet its mission which is to license and regulate the nation's civilian use of byproduct, source, and special nuclear materials in order to ensure the adequate protection of public health and safety, promote the common defense and security, and to protect the environment.. Experts from the NRC and SBA will present an overview of their major initiatives. Following the formal presentations, matchmaking sessions will take place with pre-selected companies. The event will be Web-streated and include closed-captioning and sign language services.
