This session will be moderated by Leslie Ford Weber (Suburban Hospital (Johns Hopkins University & Medicine)) and Bill Wiechmann (Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States, Inc.), Chairs of our Legislative Affairs Committee.

Speaker Highlights:

Ann Sullivan is the Founder of Madison Services Group, Inc., and brings over 40 years of government relations experience in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. A recognized expert in government procurement and small business policy, she was the driving force behind the SBA’s Women-Owned Small Business Federal Contract Program. Her accolades include multiple Stevie® Awards for Women in Business and recognition as one of Washington’s "perfectly bipartisan lobbyists" by the Sunlight Foundation.
John Stierhoff served as principal Counsel to the Maryland Senate Judicial Proceedings Committee and as Chief of Staff and Counsel to former Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller, Jr. His active lobbying practice over the last thirty years represents a wide range of businesses before the Maryland General Assembly and Executive Branch.
Marta Harting has maintained an active government relations practice before the Maryland General Assembly and Executive Branch for nearly thirty years, representing businesses in healthcare, IT, education, and gaming, among others.
Brian Quinn served as staff to the Maryland House Appropriations Committee and has maintained an extensive lobbying practice for nearly thirty years representing sectors including data centers, manufacturing, and public utilities.
Ashlie Bagwell joined Harris Jones & Malone in 2013 and has served as a government relations professional in Annapolis and throughout Maryland for over 15 years. She has represented a large number of clients across a variety of industries, working extensively with organizations located in Montgomery County. She is known for developing strategic plans based on specific client goals and her ability to seamlessly represent a wide range of policy areas.

Join the MCCC Government Relations Committee for an end-of-session legislative session review featuring leaders from Montgomery County’s legislative delegation.
