Join the MCCC Government Relations Committee for our monthly meetings, where we dive into the key policy issues shaping Montgomery County’s business environment. These sessions offer valuable insights into legislative developments at both the County and State levels and provide a platform for you to help influence decisions that directly impact our local business community.

For this meeting of the MCCC Government Relations Committee, we will welcome Takoma Park Mayor Talisha Searcy and Gaithersburg Mayor Jud Ashman for a discussion on how Montgomery County’s municipalities engage with state and county governments.

The Government Relations Committee meets weekly during the Legislative Session of the Maryland General Assembly. During the interim, the Committee meets on the second Thursday of each month. These meetings provide MCCC members with opportunities to learn, discuss, and engage on a variety of policy issues that are impacting the regional business community.
