The Government Relations Committee meets weekly during the Legislative Session of the Maryland General Assembly and meets monthly during the interim. These meetings provide Chamber members with opportunities to learn about, discuss, and engage on a wide range of policy issues impacting the regional business community.

The MCCC Government Relations Committee invites you to its next virtual meeting on November 5 at 8:30 a.m. Continuing its series spotlighting emerging leaders and recent primary election winners, the Committee will welcome Karla Silvestre, who recently won the Democratic primary for an At-Large seat on the Montgomery County Council.

All Chamber members are invited to attend to meet and learn more about the community's next generation of elected leaders and to engage in the Chamber's advocacy efforts ahead of the November 3 general election and the installation of the new County Council in December.

The Government Relations Committee meets weekly during the Maryland General Assembly legislative session and monthly during the interim period. These meetings provide Chamber members with opportunities to learn about, discuss, and engage in a wide range of policy issues affecting the regional business community.
