This is the linchpin to an efficient and equitable rollout of the next phase of re-opening. We strongly urge the state to greenlight the establishment of a site in Montgomery County immediately so that the necessary equipment and personnel can be positioned. Further, all providers in Montgomery County should be getting regular and sustainable allocations of the doses that are coming into the State of Maryland. We were distressed to hear about trusted providers who received fewer doses in the last week despite a record of efficiently administering the vaccine to eligible populations, including workers essential to the operation of the economy.
